How I got my A1 GCE Level 1 in 11 months, 3 weeks, & 8 days! Need Help?.Q:
Identifying a common mistake when you've already identified the solution
There are several answers that are obviously incorrect, but only one that is actually correct.
When you ask the question the goal is to identify the correct answer, however when you post the answer it is possible to indicate that it is the correct answer, even if it may have taken a while to work out.
Is there a way to flag an answer as the correct solution but give credit to the person who identified the mistake?
A:
If you are able to tell which one is correct, then you can simply pick the one that was posted first.
If you can't tell which one is correct, and it's in a fairly early stage of the game, then it may be worth marking a comment, to ask the answerer to clarify that they do indeed have the solution.
After a few minutes of silence (and a possible edit), you can then mark the correct answer.
A:
If you've identified the correct answer then you can just mark it as such.
If you're looking for a more general answer, then I think that would be outside the scope of this site. There are many other SE sites that could take up that question.
I think that's a fairly big question, and not what we're really designed to cover.
Q:
CoreData NSManagedObject keeps returning an object
I am facing an issue where I need to have multiple managedObjects in my CoreData. What I do is to add a new managed object and give it an ID:
- (NSManagedObject *)addUserObjectToContext:(NSManagedObjectContext *)context {
NSManagedObject *newUser = [[NSManagedObject alloc] initWithEntity: @"User" insertIntoManagedObjectContext:context];
[newUser setValue:[[NSDate date] description] forKey:@"created_at"];
[newUser setValue:[self.userName copy] forKey:@"username"];
[newUser setValue:[self.userSurname copy] forKey:@"surname"];
NSLog(@"New User: %@", newUser);
return newUser; be359ba680
